Deep beneath the Pentagon, scientists tried to open a rift to another part of the galaxy. What they opened instead… was something else entirely. A realm of swirling chaos. Of alien matter. Of The Haze.

Then came the Celestial Marlin.
A godlike being. A destroyer. A savior. It devoured the Earth and yet… guided a select few through a portal beyond Antarctica—to a new world untouched by war, rot, or shadow.

They called it “The Circle.”
Lush, alive, blindingly bright—a forgotten continent past the ice wall, reborn from ash. The survivors followed their new divine king, Vernan Forgaux, as cities rose from nothing and skyscrapers scraped the untouched heavens.

Then came the powers.
Survivors and their descendants began to awaken… Gifts of the Haze, or blessings of the Celestial Marlin? No one knows. But superhuman abilities became normal. A miracle. A curse. A new way of life.
