Sandstorms sweep over the planet's face, scorched by twin suns during the day and silently watched by five moons by night. No Man's Land, where survivors of the expedition towards new worlds survive in a barren land of writhing creatures, relying on "plants", a biological reactor that creates all matter from scratch at the cost of wringing them dry of all their energy.

In this harsh world, there is one troublemaker with a bounty of $6 million, called "Humanoid Typhoon," who is sure to bring disaster to anyone who gets involved with him. His name is Vash the Stampede.
