We are an animal sanctuary in Michigan that started with a Cockatoo and a Dream.
Demons Saving Animals opened up after a one year war between the founder and a shady "bird rescue" with bad practices such as supporting breeders and zoos.
The founder won the war but not without battle scars.
The founder rose from the ashes with her rescued cockatoo and opened her eyes, realizing that the war was fueled by Speciesism.
From that, Demons Saving Animals was born, a safe haven for many animal species free from all forms of exploitation.
The name of the sanctuary represents that if demons can be kind to those that are weaker than them, then there's no excuse for humans to be mean.
Demons Saving Animals is also the first animal sanctuary to combine the compassion of animal rescue with the entertainment of everyone's favorite Fandoms.

The people who run Demons Saving Animals are extremely kind, compassionate, and very empathetic about their work. Especially Lord Tabby, she's a shining example on how to stand your ground and defend what is right. She's a symbol of compassion and strength.
An animal sanctuary like no other

Out of all of the animal sanctuaries and rescues I've seen. This one stands out the most. People here are really caring about all living beings, and even the staff does everything they can to make sure members are comfortable.
