Let's start with the good: I don't tend to join fandom RP servers. In fact this is the first DC one I've ever been in and all things considered it's fun. I enjoy being able to freely interact with both CCs and OCs, everyone is simply so creative. Even if you don't know a lot in terms of DC lore (such as I), it's no problem as outside of general knowledge it's perfectly easy to make an OC and hop right in, and there is no criticizing for not knowing DC lore. This place is also focuses on not having OP characters, fights in character do in fact happen, but that's not the only thing happening here, and that's always a plus in my book. Honestly I could go on-and-on about the bits of good this server is, but there are far too many little details to fit into this review and I do have other things I wish to talk about lol.
In terms of the not so good: This server does have a large busy adult audience, including the staff (that in of itself is fine and I appreciate), however this does mean that it can be hard to get into unique RPs, hard to get responses, and forgetfulness is massive. You can only ping reminders so much before you start feeling bad (my limit is one ping personally). I have multiple RPs that have at this point been seemingly forgotten and abandoned. If you want active people, the summer might be the best time to RP.
This server is friendly, however it can be hard to participate, or create a conversation. I have been here for a little while, I have tended to be talked over, or completely ignored despite how active I've been over the summer. I have noticed that there is a certain clique in this server that is a mix of the staff and those the staff most interacts with (aka typically friends) which can make it hard to avoid the previous issues I have stated.
I am someone with chronic medical issues pertaining to my bodies struggle to consume things without pain. I have to explore my boundaries with food and risk pain in order to find other safe or safer foods. I have felt criticized for how I have to deal with my own medical issues due to their insistence to not hurt myself. It was very clear they (being a mixture of staff and others) did not understand my medical issues but still responded to me like they did. This event did not help my being able to interact with people on the server.
