I’d been searching for a Discord community that really balanced work and play, somewhere remote workers could connect, but also kick back and game together. I couldn’t quite find the right mix, so I decided to create AFO (Away From Office) myself.
What’s blown me away is how quickly it’s grown and how much better it’s become than I ever expected. The mix of gaming nights, chill co-working vibes, and fun bots/events makes it feel like both a productive space and a place to switch off and laugh.
The community is extremely welcoming, active, and genuinely fun to be part of. If you’re a remote worker or just someone who loves gaming and connecting with like-minded people, I can’t recommend this server enough.
