Movement Towards Paid Service?

I joined this server seeking a space for collaborative advice and constructive criticism - it is a brand new server and isn't very active, as expected. I did ask a question about structuring a critical literature review and got some very short and vague advice (possibly written by AI?). Response time was super quick though.

Checked in on the server about a week after joining - found that it seems to be moving towards a paid service, with no examples of existing work or prices set out. I think they are still giving free advice? I'm unsure. It's not very clear.
