The early parts of the story focus mainly on the Shinigami, but as events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of the Shinigami and their war with the Arrancar, followed by their war with the Quincy. The dormant Quincy King lies somewhere far away from his empty throne. The people of the Quincy race are few, the Hollows grow ever more powerful, while the Soul Reapers experience an era of peace—growing in number, yet weakening in strength individually.

The Seireitei is gone.
After a conflict so violent that the worlds themselves were shook, the oppressive and brutal force known as the Seireitei was annihilated, overthrown by those they looked down upon most: **The Olvidada.**
Made up of fallen soul reapers, hollows, and outcasts forgotten by the soul society, The Olvidada evolved to take on threats far beyond the Gotei 13's strength, further casting them into obscurity.
Now, 19 years later, a new generation of warriors lift themselves from the shadows of their predecessors, and must take on a new shade of darkness.
Bleach Inner Shards is the spiritual successor to Bleach Inner Mirror, but is NOT a direct sequel. With a reliance of new characters and constant new ideas, we offer one of the most malleable and challenging experiences out there. Bleach Inner Mirror was a server that we saw to its conclusion, lasting a year and a half in total. We can only hope that this project may succeed it!

"Years of cold wars and skirmishes led to the most devastating conflict in history: all-out-war between the QUINCIES and the SHINIGAMI. HOLLOWS began to run rampant, and the appearance FULLBRINGERS skyrocketed—many of which were enlisted by the Quincies for their war or slain by Shinigami for being spiritually aware and human.
After ten years of unending conflict, a final battle led to the near total destruction of both factions, leaving all but one of each sides' senior leadership dead. Unable to fight any further, and with the pressing threat of Hollows, a truce was called between each side.
One year later and the scars are still ever-present. Shinigami are desperately training their next generation, Quincies continue to recruit any whom can be of use, and Fullbringers desperately defend Karakura from the onslaught of Hollows left unchecked. . . ."
BLEACH Afterwar is the best up-and-coming, text-based role-play server with a custom story, dedicated to maintaining the tone and feel of the original series. The server features a simple combat system that encourages character creativity and is designed for the community to drive the story.

After a large island appeared, the 3 factions teamed up, in fear of what this could mean or bring to the normal world. Then they sent out the faction ranking members, EX 3rd seat, lieutenants, captains, sternritters, espada, etc to deal with the threat, but were suddenly MIA. The current goal is to fill in the missing spots due to the sudden chaos; every faction is trying to gear back up and prepare to reembark on another journey to discover what had killed or stopped the originally squads.
There is no canon characters, nobody knows the identity of the Quincy king, the hollow king, nor the commander of the gotei 13 as they have chosen to remain hidden, which was unusual. Though once stability is returned, they are likely to reveal themselves. The alliance is broken, the factions at each other's throats, accusations of each wiping out the others flying around. Nobody knows who to trust now.
