In a world divided by blood, the Silvers, those born with silver blood and possessing supernatural abilities, rule over most of the kingdoms with an iron fist, especially in the Kingdom of Norta and the Kingdom of the Lakelands, where the Reds, ordinary people without supernatural abilities, are oppressed in society for as long as anyone can recall. Whilst the red bloods fight each day to survive and barely scrape by, the silver bloods live a life of luxury and power.
The year is 312 and rumours have been circulating that Silvers from the Lakelands have infiltrated Norta to find out top secret government secrets and find the country’s weakness. There is also talk that citizens from Montfort are hiding amongst the Reds(including Newbloods) and Silvers of Norta.
In the Lakelands, the royal house of the Cygnet line recently discovered the presence of Reds with Silver abilities and seek to find out the causes of it through excruciatingly painful experiments on the Newbloods while keeping their presence a secret to all. The Scarlet Guard formed 22 years ago and operates in secret, helping Newbloods to remain hidden from the oppressive Silvers wanting to experiment on them.
An Underground Railroad system for Reds has recently been created as a way to escape either Norta or the Lakelands(particularly for Newbloods who were be prosecuted worse then regular Reds for their abilities). The Reds running this operation are in constant fear that they will be found out by the Silvers and live in hiding of them, keeping this endeavour a secret. The Scarlet Guard is of course behind this endeavour in an attempt to one day enter Norta and recruit Reds to carry on the cause in Norta to help Reds across both countries, eventually expanding to other countries that oppress Reds. Will you join the Scarlett Guard or be a force against them? The choice is yours…
