One of the most passionate, creative servers I've been in. A place that understands it's audience, and even after certain misfires, still manages to make me smile and grin.

FictionWorks is great. As someone who believes in the fact that people should RP what they like rather than going with the status quo and RPing the mainstream shonen bullshit at the time, FW has managed to kept up a genuinely good streak of having the most variety I've seen in it's main cast and character roster. A decent variety of Toku, Shonen, Cartoons (adventure time finn..!!), and OCs make for a genuinely interesting rotation of characters, most of which I find likeable with great evolution (respect shaberryman) and no real caveats.

Some people might say this server lacks an identity of it's own, but I jest. I do believe that even if there are servers with the trope of "side-object that's used to give a character abilities from other verses" -- FW is inoffensive with it, as Crossbottles aren't used as ways to bypass loopholes. Heck, I don't think my cast has them at all! Maybe I'm just stupid and inactive, but I do not believe that you have to get Crossbottles in order to actually be relevant in the server.

All you need is a little pacience, some passion and liking actual shonen-adjescent media. I think everything surrounding FictionWorks is great. Even if certain actions might come off as weird to me, I do not hold the owner as a bad person for these. I think the owner's a genuinely great guy, with a lot of passion for things who understands that life is too short to do shitty sandbox RP, and that it's also too short to do massive grandiosé biblical stories on his server.

Just a great server overall, please join it if you want a good server that actually likes writing stories that aren't silly glurp shitto stuff.
