★ Hey you! Are you Black American/Soulaan who’s interested in things like Greek mythology, paganism, and the Yoruba pantheon, and wondered to yourself “do we have something like that in our culture?” Because we do! And this server is dedicated to uncovering it.

According to anthropologists such as Miles Newbell Puckett, who studied and documented our culture (with a focus on folk beliefs), Black Americans have a long, rich history of myths, legends, folklore, deities, and spirits that exist outside of any other religion, mainstream or folk, and are completely unique to our culture. You may have heard of Brer Rabbit, John Henry, and Anansi, but what about Old King Sun, the Gray Eagle, the Morrow, or Unkus? ☆

Our goal is to educate as many other Black Americans on this fascinating part of our culture and history as we can, as some of these myths are no longer well known, and some have even been lost to time. Our mythology deserves the same level of recognition and respect as Greek mythology. ☆

*The air was hot, as the summer sun would beam across the sky. The sounds of children laughter could be heard all throughout the streets, Bubbles flouted in the air and streaks of water flew every which way. Cars would flood the streets of the local community pool, park would be full of people enjoying the hot days. It was truly a time to be alive, a time where worry was less and joy was high, a time where kids could be kids and adults would clock in less for work, enjoying family time.

*Suddenly.. The ground below began to shift a little.. nothing too noticeable... until it was just a mear shift anymore and a full on rumble.
A High lvl Earthquake would begin, not in one city, not in one country, but throughout the entire world. The ground began rocking back n forth, up and down, side to side as lamppost fell on cars, nest of birds fell out of trees, and buildings began dropping dust and minor debris.
People took cover, some hid under cars, some stood out in the clear open, other panicked.
The clouds above slowly grew darker, more grey.. slowly blocking out the sunlight.*
**3:33 pm**
*Just then.. everything stopped... The ground shaking, the panic, everything.. just came to a complete.. stop.
People came out from hiding, scared, terrified, as they clang onto each other for comfort..
When just then. A red gleam of light separated the clouds above, as people quickly looked high into the sky, noticing something slowly flouting down from the bloody light..
Something.. no... Someone... Would hover above in the sky, slightly looking down upon the civilians below.. a look of disgust washing over their face..*
