The server is great on the side of normal talking and gaming, but I am afraid the military side of it bleeds into other things too much, and contaminates the culture.
There are very few people here that I can reliably trust to speak with, because the space is not friendly to women. Being loud and rude is typical within military places but that sort of behaviour is brought into the casual areas very frequently.
There are people here who are worth being near, but most I have seen are either trying to impress girls all the time, or trying to chase them away and say rude things to or about them.
The channels are dead mostly and are only sometimes spoken in by very few people. The voice channels I have not been in for months because most of the frequent participants act very performative and strange in the presence of girls. It is also not a very active gaming server because most of the hundreds of people in the server have never even spoken in it.
The military side seems very informative and knowledgeable, but I would not be their friend. Those in charge are tolerable but you cannot spend time with them without annoying people being present.
Improvements have been made a lot to make it more friendly toward people who are not on the military side, but it is still not a good experience to talk to most people here.
If you wish to be here it is important to be careful of the military gaming culture, they are not as friendly as I would like. And if you are a girl, pretend every conversation is a theatre act, because it likely is.
