Grimm: New Age

The Myths and Fairy Tales of old are real. Or... at least they hint at who lives among us. Amongst humanity they live their lives, they could be your neighbor, your friend, your high school biology teacher. They are called Wesen (VEH - sen) people who can shift into beings of myths and legends. The Werewolf? Look no further than the Blutbad, wolf-men with great speed and strength. The Jaguar gods of the mayans? The Yaguarte is the agile origin of the Mayan gods. The Berserkers of the Danes and Norse told to have the likeness of a bear when in battle? The Jagerbars and there ferocious strength were common among the berserkers. But here is the catch, you dont know who is Wesen and who isn't, because they aren't not humans either. Unless the woge (VO - gue) they look just like any other person on the street, you wont know they were holding a hoard of secrets with them. And this has served to keep the existence of Wesen from the majority of humanity.

But, there are those who can see them, whether Wesen wants to be seen or not. Those who usually hunt Wesen whether they be good or bad. Those who are gifted with abilities beyond knowledge. They are the Grimms. Maybe only a few hundred left in the world now, most Grimms have learned to hunt ALL Wesen although a few Grimms have realised not all Wesen are bad.

But now, dangerous plots and factions arise over the globe threatening Grimms, Wesen, and Commoners alike. And the Grimms may have to put aside their differences to work with Wesen, or not, and brave it alone.
