Cryptozoology

Cryptozoology is the proposed science of looking for animals, known in the field as cryptids, whose existence is disputed, unsubstantiated, unconfirmed, or unknown. This can range from extinct animals to folkloric monsters. Examples are Bigfoot, the Thylacine, the Beast of Exmoor and the Mokele-Mbembe.

There is a significant lack of serious and scientific discourse concerning cryptids, it is a field that is largely psuedo-scientific and dominated by young-earth creationists and other silly nonsense. This server intends to fill the void and be a place of intelligent and rational discussion concerning cryptids and their possible existence.
