The Trotskyist Server

A nice and respectful Server that has a lot of very knowledgeable people in different fields that may be interesting to a Socialist, such as History, Organisation ect. The people are generally very sympathetic and there is not a lot of Sectarianism.

For a politics server there is extremely little drama, just lots of nerds having discussions and posting about various books/article/news. The people on there know their stuff, aren't afraid to post their sources, and generally don't get drawn into slapfights of petty insults and swearing, so while I feel out of place they are very nice about it. Good moderation also keeps the raids from weirdo nazis and general reactionaries to a minimum, almost all of which is confined to the welcome channel and so never interrupts the actual discussions going on.

They are also queer friendly which is always a plus.

I've been in this server for over a year and I've genuinely enjoyed it a lot compared to other trotskyist/ communist spaces online, people are very nice, there's little to no drama at all and compared to other leftist spaces, it seems to be way more based on intelligent and healthy discussions rather than just petty bickering back and forth and calling this or that person a revisionist. Overall great place to be in with a great set of people. 5 stars.
