Armed with this knowledge, she approached Professor Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, and the three consolidated a plan to erect a safe haven for all mutants.

With the aid of Cypher, the three established a treaty with the sentient island known as Krakoa, and thus, a sanctuary for their kind was born.
