Missing person cases and murder cases plague a small town in New Jersey. But, there isn't any leads behind the disappearances. Chatter circulates through out the town, but their questions are left unanswered. Little do the townspeople know that their explanation lies in two entities that beyond their comprehension. The townspeople are even more oblivious to the realms that lie beyond their small world.

The town is known as Mourning hill, and it's located in the heart of the pine barrens. The woods stretch for miles, isolating the already small down from the rest of society. Mourning Hill doesn't appear on any maps, just hidden amongst the densely packed trees. Everyone knows the numerous tales of cryptids and the ghost stories involving the pine barrens. But, that's all they are right?

If only they knew their troubles went beyond restless spirits or a hybrid monstrosity they call the 'Jersey Devil'.
