What can you do?

🏛️ You can apply for a position in the bureaucracy - Ministries are frequently open, and new ones are created often to accommodate the Empire’s needs. And, if you play your cards right, perhaps you could reach the highest, most powerful, available position: The Stewardship.
Alternatively, you could serve the ministries in other ways, such as Law Enforcement in the Ministry of Justice, as a diplomat or consul in the Ministry of Foreign & Colonial Affairs, or an architect in the Ministry of Regional Development & Governance

📜 You could become a lobbyist, or possibly a representative in the Imperial Parliament, allowing you to draft and vote on new laws and amendments. The Empire is always in need of new legislation to accommodate its needs, and you could be the one that drafts or sponsors it. Perhaps you could serve the interests of the merchants and magnates, pushing for laws that benefit them, laws that the common citizenry are seeking, or serve your own interests

💰 You could become a merchant, grow the Empire’s economy, and fuel industry. The Valdorian Aureus is held up by the gold standard, so you can guarantee that your hard-earned money has value. You could also expand your reach further than just a singular store or factory, and become a magnate with significant influence over politics and the people, by owning an entire corporation
