LORE SYNOPSIS:

At Sinyala, the bindings of control are quietly unraveling.

Since her introduction as a Prime Asset, Liliya Bogomolova's influence has slowly spread through every level of the facility like disease ravaging a leper. Reagents, starved for a gospel other than Easterman's false reincarnation, have begun devouring her words with fervent hunger. Their exposure to the PA has caused them to develop cerebral lesions—"the fingerprints of God". Even Dr. Easterman has fallen under her spell. Enamored with her whispers, he hosted a grand "advent" in her name, further amplifying her influence.

Superficially, this shift appears promising, a potential breakthrough in the development of perfect sleeper agents.

In truth, the shift has pushed the foundations of Sinyala on the verge of collapse.

The CIA is hesitant to trust him, but after the disastrous Bay of Pigs caused by cutting Sinyala budget, they are forced to enable his ramblings. Facility Director Avellanos, however, is skeptical, watching his worsening madness with mounting alarm.

In a desperate attempt for stabilization, Avellanos authorized the activation of Murkboard, an experimental communication system designed to surveil and influence. But with communication comes connection.

The very people destined to be controlled may soon be the ones pulling the strings.
