A glimmering star in the sky shooting down and colliding with the earth’s surface to reveal a meteor is not something you’d see on your average stroll to your nearby convenience store. Much more if someone were to say it was filled with crystals that gave you powers upon coming in contact with one.
Televisions blare, breaking live news to you about a system the government is rolling out in response to such a supernatural occurrence. Anyone who doesn’t give up their crystals to the government or join their league is marked with a target over their heads.
