The Grimoire Circle is a 21+ Dark Academia-themed server built for people who want a quiet, organized space to talk about books, share creative projects, and play games.
We’re a community for people who value a slower, more intentional pace. Whether you're here to discuss a classic novel, work on an art journal, or find a group to game with, we work hard to keep the vibe respectful and curated.
Because we want to keep this a safe and comfortable space for everyone, we have a few requirements:

🏳️🌈 We are a proud LGBTQIA+ friendly community.
🎙️ We have a mandatory verification process. It’s just a casual voice chat conversation with our team to see if we’re a good fit for each other and to help you get settled in.
🚫 This server prohibits any racism, homophobia, discriminatory language, or disrespect of others in our space.

The perfect dark academia haven! ✨

I was a little nervous about the verification interview at first, but the owner is so sweet and made it feel like a casual chat. Honestly, the interview system is great because it ensures the server stays a safe, supportive, and high quality space.
I’ve been here for about half a month and absolutely love the vibe. It’s a smaller server but active in VCs and incredibly well moderated. It's also entirely LGBTQ+ friendly.
Right now, we’re reading The Lightning Thief, and the book club discussions are so well organized with dedicated question lists so everyone gets a turn to speak without chaos. Outside of reading, it’s a massive hub for writers. There are spots for buddy reads, event planning, and world building or OC creation.
Plus, the owner built a custom bot that has some cool commands (highly recommend trying teabreak for a cozy virtual snack). There are already updates planned for the future, and I can't wait to see where it goes. 10/10 recommend joining! (Especially if you like kind places where you get to meet people without the mess of a crowded server!)

there's a lot of servers out there that are dedicated towards books or media, so what makes this one special, you may ask?
Well, for me, it's the fact that the place can be encompassed by the title of the review - it's a place you can (potentially) call home.
After entering following the verification process (no spoilers here, but trust me it is really wonderful and the owner is a gem!), it's very evident the owner has spent a considerable amount of time preparing and polishing the server. She and the rest of the community are so welcoming and kind, with so many curated spaces to chat about the million different aspects related to books. if you can think of it - there's probably a channel or space for it :)
note that books are not the only subject of this server - it includes writing too!
It is still budding and has a small community but has lots of potential. i hope to see you, dear reader of this review, in there soon!
