Things have been... wrong recently. It has been wrong for the past 8 years. It was 2012 when the news of Master Tengen's death was announced by Jujutsu High. The culprit, motive and timing unknown.

At the same time, around the foothills of Mt. Hida a new zone has formed. A barrier where Cursed Energy can be funneled in, but can't naturally escape. Over the ruins of Takayama The Exclusion Zone's pale dawning arc hovers. This was Master Tengen's last resting place.

You're dropped into a world that is recovering in the wreckage. The status quo was maintained. Your mission? Keep doing sorcery. Keep fighting. Life will go on as normal. But moreover, you will now have to venture into this Exclusion Zone, and face whatever dangers it might present.
