In April, 2010, a mysterious virus rapidly spread throughout the world, infecting every human. When an infected person died, they came back as a cannibalistic, rotting monster that is never full and seeks to devour anything it finds. Constantly searching, constantly walking. In two months, human civilisation was in ruins as societies around the globe collapsed into anarchy. Now, in California, survivors attempt to band together to defeat their common enemy: The dead that walk.
