New York: Empire City

The year is 2016, when the sun sets on the city the praxis is held by Ventrue Prince Hellene Panhard. She assumed the praxis in 2002 and quickly assembled her court that has been through moments of uncertainty but remains despite counter attacks by Sabbat and other incidents. For the city that never sleeps there are small struggles happening in the street nightly whether you even notice they are there. Whether it is the Anarchs gathering in Staten Island asking aloud why they shouldn't ask for more or one of the independent clans testing the domains of the Camarilla by taking an inch hoping for a mile, there is tension forever in New York.

Whispers carry along the streets and through kindred society that the Sabbat could be back. There could be monsters in the sewers they aren't telling you about or maybe it's all a lie to distract from something bigger. Most neonates are just trying to keep their heads down while their unlife passes but what if it's not all rumor, what if the next shoe is about to drop. How could one not worry about that when the city itself never seems to slow down.

Will you dare take a look around and risk having whatever it could be lock eyes with you? You know what they say once you see it, then it cannot be unseen. Every night is a choice. Get busy making more of your unlife or meet that final death. This is the Empire City and it didn't get it's name for being anything but vital and important whether kindred or kine.
