After a naval vessel drifted off course during a storm, the world discovered something impossible far out in the southern ocean:

An uncharted island chain untouched by modern civilization.

Towering jungles. Ancient ruins. Violent storms. And creatures believed extinct for millions of years.

Now nations, corporations, scientific organizations, mercenary groups, and independent explorers have rushed to establish fragile footholds along the coastlines before anyone else can claim the islands first.

But the expeditions are already beginning to fail.

Entire camps vanish overnight.
Patrols disappear inland.
Supply boats drift back empty.
And strange noises echo beyond the treeline after dark.

The archipelago remains largely unexplored, with most settlements clinging desperately to the coast while small teams venture inland searching for answers, resources, fame, or survival.
