Torrance wasn’t always riddled with evil.

It used to be a wonderful, safe city protected by a powerful hero group. The Pinnacle Guard, they called themselves, were an elite force who selflessly defended American families from criminals and were known all across the country as a force that defended against evil.

That was, until, the earthquake.

It shook the city without remorse, threatening to destroy everything. The Pinnacle Guard leapt into action, yet found that their efforts were in vain. An unknown villain of unprecedented power amped up the strength of the earthquake, quickly and violently wiping out much of the Pinnacle Guard and the city as a whole. By the time the villains had escaped, the damage had already been done; Torrance was left nigh-desolate and every hero in the area had either been killed or went into hiding.

The Dark Age of Torrance began shortly after. With the fall of the Pinnacle Guard and hero society, villains filled the streets and threatened the safety of every resident despite reconstruction efforts.

The Superhero Dispatch Network soon arose in a hidden speakeasy bar, where heroes and reforming villains alike banded together to attempt to bring Torrance back from the depths in which it fell to.

It’s been eight months since the earthquake and turmoil still lingers in the darker parts of the city, threatening to reverse progress made and finally destroy Torrance for good.

Will you join the wave of dispatchers pushing towards the next Golden Era? Will you be on the heroics side, supporting the city with your own two hands?

Or will you be a criminal bettering only yourself? Do you dare to defy what the world needs most, plummeting into the depths of villainy and brutality?
