Fifteen Years Ago, Asahi Manor mysteriously burnt down. Home to the Asahi family and its long legacy of heirs to the family’s engineering company, the fire is a mystery that still remains unsolved. One body was recovered: Maya Matsubara, thirty-one years old. There is no media coverage on it aside from Maya’s discovery, which has led to plenty of theories and discussions about the case online. Many suspect foul play, though there is very little information about it online.

In honor of the anniversary of the Maya Matsubara case, you have been invited to a one-of-a-kind opportunity revolving around finally solving it!

This is an internship under the Velasco Program awarded to twenty - twenty-five Ultimates, which includes an all-exclusive tour of the manor itself during your stay! You will be accompanied by the ever-elusive Dr. Velasco on this four-week stay, one of the lead investigators in the old and ancient case. Should your group succeed in your endeavors, you will be rewarded with connections, monetary rewards, grants towards future research, renown for solving the case, or a vacation to a place of your choice!
