[30K] Eternae Victrix (Literate 18+ Only)

Terra stands united, yet The Emperor's work still remains unfinished. With his sons cast out amongst the stars, and the galaxy still licking the wounds from the Dark Age of Technology, the stage set for the Great Crusade. It is time now for mankind to be united once more across the stars and claim what is rightfully theirs.

Welcome to Eternae Victrix, a literate 30k AU with a focus on the quality of the story above all else. We aim to write a compelling and enjoyable 30k experience, including custom Primarchs and their Legions, alongside xenos as well, despite our focus on the Imperium. We will be going from the very start of the Great Crusade and rediscovery of the Primarchs through the entirety of the Heresy. And afterwards there will be general "Eras" that we will roleplay through, with consequences from the heresy spiraling out into these Eras.

We are an LGBTQ+ friendly space, and facilitate a mature (18+) environment due to the nature of the setting we write for. We do not allow pornographic content in the server. While love and other motivators can be great for stories, doing NSFW things simply for the sake of it is not tolerated in the server.

A truly wonderful experience, balanced and full of content and interactive events for players. Even if you don't have a primarch you could still feel that you're contributing on a wider scale than you would any other place. Astartes or mortals like Rogue traders are all fun to play. Xeno players aren't subjected to irrelevancy nor are they pushed aside, example? There's a current war between Aeldari and Orks, THAT says a lot!

Giving this place a try is a must, at least before you venture anywhere deeper. As a plus, it is consistently active unlike most other 30k servers.

Decent Roleplay, But Toxic Community

As a former staff member, I think I'm qualified to make this review:

This server did have really fun roleplay, people tend to be pretty great writers, and very literate too, the Owner is a nice guy who does try, even if he does makes a lot of mistakes. But this server is VERY prone to drama, dogpiling, and general toxicity, whether it is political or otherwise; there are arguments so often, especially amongst the staff team, that it is very demotivating. Some of the staff members and player base openly yet indirectly support hate crimes against the LGBTQIA+ individuals and Christians. The management tends to be more on the incompetent side, with verdicts being more of just a popularity contest rather than a by the book, unbiased ruling; if you're not particularly popular or even the most active, even if you follow the rules to the letter and have 0 warnings, you can be banned if the wrong people don't like you. There is furthermore a rampant power gaming and meta gaming issue, with players actively bragging about in character benefits in general chat in the middle of a conversation about a different topic and then being incredibly rude when receiving any pushback, all while having co-ordinated with a biased staff member to speed run having as many in character benefits as possible. This server has had multiple corrupt staff members, from those who try to enforce their own self-righteous political beliefs unto others through introducing new rules that only affect people they disagree with, to someone actively abusing the Game Master position in order to attempt retroactively nerfing already accepted characters while simultaneously ensuring the maximum amount of buffs for their own. Expect ALOT of power scaling from both Xenos and Imperium players, with little to no steps taken by server management to fix it. Overall I highly recommend checking out the other Warhammer RP servers that can fill the niche this one does.

Players from one WHRP server tend to be on other servers of the same genre anyway, so you're likely to run into them regardless, what matters most is if the server management is competent and unbiased, because at the end of the day if you're committing your personal time to write essays worth of content for a community that will disrespect you, slander you, and ultimately get moderator action taken upon you for small things such as personal opinions, your time will be valued more elsewhere. But at the current state its in at the time of me writing this review, your best course of action is to save yourself the hassle and join somewhere else.
