MIASMA SMP

The Miasma SMP is a Minecraft server with a fully open world map, inspired by dungeons and dragons, The Legend of Zelda (Breath of the Wild), and a few different gothic horror and zombie apocalypse things.
The base premise is a fantasy-style world (time period ~1000s-1600s) that has been taken over by a powerful necromancer known as The Grand Lich. They have transformed themself and their subjects into liches, plunging the world into darkness under their tyrannical rule.
“But where do zombies come into that?” I hear you asking…
Well, unfortunately (for us mortals) liches do not eat regular normie food — they eat mortal flesh and blood. Those who are not fully consumed by this however become ghouls — zombie-like creatures that feed on the living. The amount a ghoul has been consumed contributes to how conscious they are — those with many chunks missing are mindless husks driven by only hunger, those with simple bites are fully conscious and remember their past life — however, the hunger is still ever present (Think Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul).
