The New Heir (A Selection Roleplay)

Two years ago, A Selection was held. Isaac Schreave, the son of Queen Katherine and King Damien Schreave of Illea, came of age, and held a Selection. And just as he was on the cusp of announcing his pick for his wife, rebels attacked the palace. Many died, including the king and Isaac. Only Queen Katherine survived, leaving her as the sole ruler of a country she loved. She took time to heal and recover, and once enough time had passed, she made an announcement. Henrietta Digger, one of the Selected, one of the Elite, and Isaac’s second pick, was named as the new heir to the Illean throne. It surprised everyone, but no one seemed to question it. After all, the country needed someone to rule after Katherine retired, and the people had seemed to favor Henrietta later on in Isaac’s Selection. She adopted the last name Schreave, and her family was moved into the palace.

Now, two years later, new Selection applications have gone out, announcing that Henrietta, now 18, was holding her own Selection, open to both men and women. And everyone is wondering what will happen this time..
