The Otherworld is an 18+ (sfw) community of practitioners and pagans focused on discussion and learning, but we are a tight knit, active and casual community as well! We have dedicated channels for an array of religious traditions and magical practices both secular and not.
We are an all-inclusive server first and foremost and take a strong, active stance against cultural appropriation and white supremacy. We are LGBTQ, neurodivergent, and indigenous owned and run, and system friendly.

from inclusive and kind staff members to a diverse community, the otherworld strives to cultivate a safe space for all practitioners of any level. if anything, this server strives for inclusivity. the active but small staff team has been a great help, as well as pillars of this community. many of the active members too are large pillars of the otherworld’s friendly and kind community that promotes education and learning.
the otherworld has never shown me hostility, and it has only wanted to see people grow in their practice. with daily discussions about witchcraft and religion, i have found that this server puts growth and community before anything else. within the members, there are many people with different religious paths and practitioner paths. however, there is bound to be someone similar to someone else, and no one is ever left out here.
ever since i chose to return on my "spiritual" journey, as one can say, i have found that the otherworld offers the greatest community. there is a private closed practice chat for those who want it, and there are so many people here who are willing to talk to you about your practice, even if it is different than theirs. the staff team is amazing. the community of members, as i've said, is absolutely incredible. i've had a wonderful experience here, and i hope someone else does too when they join this server.
overall, love the community. love the staff. love seeing the otherworld grow. i hope to see it grow more in the future <3

Humane discussions AND genuine Religious Connections? YIPPEE!!!

Since diving into my spiritual/religious journey about 5 years ago, I've joined and left several dozen servers. Some I left because the atmosphere was less religious discussion, and more trying to one up each other's practice. Others ended up deleted, raided, or were simply inactive. Others still were a certain flavor of new age that doesn't sit right with me...
The Otherworld server is one of the most important places I've experienced. I, and many other members, haven't ever really had a space to respectfully converse about our beliefs without certain people lashing out. But here? There is no fear of being ostracized for an opinion. "The Arena" channel is, most of the time, someone says "damn, this thing sucks and/or lacks the original context" and the replys are some variation of "real, so true"
The Owners are amazing as well. Currently over 300 members and they try their best to know and talk to each of us. They remember details that at first dont seem important, but show that they really truly care about this community.
Not to mention the bird channel haha
All in all, my favorite server to be in probably 5ever. Everyone, regardless of faith or origin, is incredibly respectful and kind. And Willow and Nox do their absolute best keeping out and banning spammers, scammers, and trolls galore. Love y'all so much <3

a most wonderful community

I have been apart of this community since it's very early days and it's become an important part of my life. It's been such a joy to watch it grow, and to see how all the channels have been filled up overnight with diverse discussions. The owners and many lovely members are truly passionate about learning, teaching, discussing, and just joking around - I love that there are running inside jokes within the community. It is a safe space to talk passionately about one's religious experiences, to ask questions, to share art and food, to just be. Otherworld has been such an inspiration to me in many ways, there is no community I've ever considered as important.
