**It's now 2013.** Fourteen years prior, the Hunter Association conducted the largest expedition known to man. **100,000 Hunters** set off for the **Dark Continent**... Only **100 survived**. They came back insane. Insanity took hold of their sanity. They refused to communicate. There were others with unusual curses and enigmatic Nen abilities that scholars couldn't decipher. The Chairman himself didn't come back. Under the rule of the new **Chairman Kaiser**, the Hunter Association tries to rise once again, but creatures, artifacts, and bizarre manifestations of Nen start surfacing all around the world.
