You stumbled, legs finally giving up after what seemed like hours on the run. As your body crashed to the ground, you braced for an impact... one that never came.

Welcome to Etherial, a lore-driven SMP that takes place entirely underground. After 90% of humanity has a shared vision of "salvation," mass religious hysteria breaks out. One week later, all that remains are the unlucky few, left to face the tribulations on earth. They spend the first day running from beasts swarming the streets, purging the world of the last of humanity. Many die, but for some reason YOU are saved. Swallowed up by a sinkhole spawned from one of the many earthquakes that had broken out throughout the day, you find yourself in an expansive cave system deep below the surface. Armed with nothing but the clothes on your back, you and the other fallen must find a way to survive, exploring mysterious caverns and facing new challenges with the underground life, and perhaps uncovering the truth behind your situation.
Our server is a tight knit community that aims to develop a strong storyline and explore worldbuilding strictly through improvational means! YOU are the masters of your own destiny in this world, and your choices and actions directly influence the fate of Etherial. A running Minecraft storyline with characters, overarching plot, etc, and it is pretty easy to get into!
We are very LGBTQ+ friendly! Most of us are gay in some way lol.
We have Game Nights!! Every Sunday at 8pm EST.
A few things that you should note, however.
There is a strict application process. It does not take very long, at most 15 minutes, so please put effort into it.
Voice chat is not required, but recommended! It is the main way most of us communicate.
Lore is very much encouraged! It is one of the main points of the server. Please come prepared with a character! It does not have to be one that you will use, just proof that you have done lore, and know how to roleplay! If you do not have a character, you will not be welcome in.
This is NOT a combat-oriented server. Though there may be occasional combat, it is not frequent.
I highly recommend reading the rules, as they are a bit different from other servers!

- Near Vanilla Gameplay - What this means is there’s no /tpa, no /sethome, no /spawn. We try to keep to Minecraft’s original magic with some HermitCraft style additions.
- CoreProtect - Grief and theft are easily reversible thanks to this plugin.
- Proximity Chat - Not a requirement of playing on the server, but an option to you.
- Experienced Staff - Most of Reverie’s team have experience running similar Minecraft servers, meaning we’ll do it right the first time. (hopefully)

- Server Events - We plan to produce and host server events! These may be within Discord such as movie nights or D&D sessions, or on the server such as build battles and challenges!

We hope to prove to our community that Reverie is deserving of your playtime and respect. Your opinion is important to us! As such, we have ways and avenues for players to make suggestions. Polls will also be available to the community when necessary for how we evolve the server.

RaverSMP is a solely survival Minecraft multiplayer server, compatible on Bedrock and Java. We host events, make lore, and so, so much more! You, yes you, can be apart of the lore!
