Welcome to Synthesis - a Lore SMP that changes every season, with a fresh new modpack, world and characters!
We have just started our fantasy based season 3 which involves cobblemon, magic + tech mods like Spectrum and Oritech, with custom starters ! We're also invested into RP, with character sheets, lore carrds and more ! We're very player-agency focused, with a town system and custom made origins.
The lore begins with your character being abducted by anomaly portals, whisking them away from their homes and trapping them within a brand new dimension, supervised in it by a powerful organisation that seems to be avoiding answering any questions. This is a chill survival server! Feel free to join and invite your friends! The more the merrier :) However, we’ll only be accepting members who are 16+
This server is vanilla with a few simple plugins mostly to help staff monitor the server better (such as core protect & essentials). We also have simple voice chat! Nothing that really alters gameplay though, trying to keep it as vanilla as possible! We do have /spawn & /home, but no other tp commands. Crossplay compatible so available to all players, both java & bedrock!!! Also recently added an advancement plugin to give our members more things to do :)
Absolutely no stealing/griefing or toolbox or hacking/cheating of any kind is in any way allowed!!! Don’t join just to ruin other people’s fun!
I want this to be a very long term smp with a cool community that continues to grow and inspire each other as we build and collaborate on projects (no plans to reset anytime soon). We have a shopping district around spawn (currency is diamonds), have started a nether hub, and players can create mini games for others to participate in or let others come and sign up for (like in hermitcraft)!
Members of our server are really chill, helpful and very welcoming!!! Would love to have some new additions to the server and to make new friends that love the game :)
Note: you’re not expected to vc or be super social within the server, more than saying hi occasionally, although our members are very friendly! In the world of Welkin, three Gods—Peteos, Gia, and Celeste—worked together to create the land, sky, and foundation of existence. As life flourished, it consumed resources, leading to conflict between the Gods, especially Peteos, whose bedrock could not be easily replenished. After ages of dispute, Peteos abandoned the world and took the land's structure with him, causing the land to weaken and collapse. Gia attempted to repair the damage before leaving to find Peteos, but never returned. In a final sacrifice, Celeste gave their life to partially restore the world and create a new generation of Gods, hoping they would live in the harmony that the original three had lost.

Running through the streets with a host hot on your tail, you couldn't help but wonder -- was this really the end? You, who was left behind during what could only be explained as the rapture, and left to battle the tribulations, couldn't imagine what you had done to deserve such a fate. Perhaps you weren't the greatest person. You made a few mistakes here and there. But regardless, an eternity of suffering while far worse people seemed to be taken by the Being seemed a bit much. You stumbled, legs finally giving up after what seemed like hours on the run. As your body crashed to the ground, you braced for an impact... one that never came.

Welcome to Etherial, a lore-driven SMP that takes place entirely underground. After 90% of humanity has a shared vision of "salvation," mass religious hysteria breaks out. One week later, all that remains are the unlucky few, left to face the tribulations on earth. They spend the first day running from beasts swarming the streets, purging the world of the last of humanity. Many die, but for some reason YOU are saved. Swallowed up by a sinkhole spawned from one of the many earthquakes that had broken out throughout the day, you find yourself in an expansive cave system deep below the surface. Armed with nothing but the clothes on your back, you and the other fallen must find a way to survive, exploring mysterious caverns and facing new challenges with the underground life, and perhaps uncovering the truth behind your situation.
Our server is a tight knit community that aims to develop a strong storyline and explore worldbuilding strictly through improvational means! YOU are the masters of your own destiny in this world, and your choices and actions directly influence the fate of Etherial. Set on a handmade, custom underground map, Etherial is modded for immersion and runs on 1.20.1.

- Near Vanilla Gameplay - What this means is there’s no /tpa, no /sethome, no /spawn. We try to keep to Minecraft’s original magic with some HermitCraft style additions.
- CoreProtect - Grief and theft are easily reversible thanks to this plugin.
- Proximity Chat - Not a requirement of playing on the server, but an option to you.
- Experienced Staff - Most of Reverie’s team have experience running similar Minecraft servers, meaning we’ll do it right the first time. (hopefully)

- Server Events - We plan to produce and host server events! These may be within Discord such as movie nights or D&D sessions, or on the server such as build battles and challenges!
