Dem Bums Rebel HQ was created as a place where US and international anti-fascists, leftists, socialists, communists and anti-capitalists of all creeds, and yes even anti-trump liberals and moderates, can have a chill place to discuss current events and politics. All races, religions, genders, and sexualities are welcome and promised a non-hostile but open place for both difficult and unserious discussions with rules that demand basic respect that should come naturally to anyone on the left.

This server is sort of an experiment, alright?

It's mostly just your usual online space that functions as a server like any other, where people have regular conversations. However, there's an extra bit to it.

🌷 You should join if you:
1. Enjoy thinking deeply rather than just surface-level,
2. Are 18+ years old,
3. Don't mind being observed,
4. And maybe even want to form very personal relationships

🌷 Why I created the server:
- Because I've been searching for a calm online debate space, but it's always purely about politics/religion-related things, full of 50-year-olds who are way too serious about their debates, or it's simply not even active anymore.
- Also because I'm looking for thoughtful people.

🌷 I'd love to gather info on:
- Patterns in online interpersonal conversations
- Reactions to different situations
- Individual behavior in a controlled environment
- Personal preferences
- And more
