Independence Day has always belonged to America, but this year, it belongs to Vought International...
Across the United States, millions gather to celebrate. In New York City, however, the festivities are unlike anything seen before.
Hosted by Vought International and headlined by The Seven, this year's celebration promises to be the largest in the company's history. Streets have been transformed into a sea of red, white, and blue. Massive floats line the avenues. News stations broadcast live from every corner of Manhattan. Fans travel from around the world hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite heroes.
To the public, the event is a celebration of freedom, as it always has been... But to Vought, it is proof. Proof that supes are not just celebrities or corporate icons, but protectors of America, weapons: The future of national security.
For years, Vought has pushed for supes to be given a greater role in the military. The government remains divided. Some see heroes as America's greatest asset. Others see them as unstable, unregulated, and far too dangerous to place on a battlefield.
But public opinion has power.
And on the Fourth of July, the entire country will be watching.

To Vought, she’s just another "collateral statistic." To the Seven, it’s another PR headache. But to a grieving guy named Hughie and a man with a vendetta named Billy Butcher, it’s the spark that starts a war.
The Setting: We are an Alternate Universe (AU) starting at the definitive beginning of Season 1. The status quo is intact, but the future is unwritten. Will the Seven maintain their iron grip on celebrity culture, or will a group of nobodies actually manage to take down the gods?

It’s the year 2025 and things have gone downhill. Sister Sage became the new CEO of Vought, most of the Boys’ members have been contained in the Freedom Camps, Billy Butcher is dying of cancer, and Homelander effectively seizes control of the United States government and now has a puppet president.
However, Starlight has started her own team that includes the Gen V team and A-Train made to take down the Seven and Vought themselves. However, times are changing and soon nothing will ever be the same again.
