Welcome to family friendly fun!! We love rats, video games and fostering a safe environment for marginalized folks! Our democracy style set up allows us to accept suggestions and staff applications at all times to be reviewed by not only staff, but the whole server*!

Our verification process is manual so that admins can keep everybody safe from spam and other threats to mental health. It's not a perfect science, but here we listen and we don't judge so that victims or concerned people can come forward in the event of staff not realizing someone unsafe slipping through. Our rules about maintaining a safe space are important to us and we enforce them as well as we can!

*We have a dedicated optional ping for suggestions that users can use for the first round of voting on a suggestion. The next step in the process is for staff to review whether the suggestion is appropriate server material, and if it gets the all clear we move on to an announcement ping so that more people can participate in the decision.
