Pocket Tunes is a community built around the appreciation of music and audio, with a focus on devices both new and old that let you take your music wherever you go.

Maybe you listen to music on your phone with a DAC dongle and your favorite IEM's, maybe you have an old cassette Walkman or a retro-modded iPod. Maybe you even carry around a CD player or a MiniDisc portable. Whatever you're into you'll find a place for it here, among a relaxed and welcoming community that puts the enjoyment of music above the nitpicking of gear.

I created this server with the goal of building a space dedicated to music as much as audio gear, for people who appreciate both a wide variety of music as well as all the different ways technology has allowed us to take that music on the go—but don't worry, we have a lot of shared interests, and you'll find a space here for less pocketable formats like Vinyl too.
