According to the newly arrived Justice Syndicate, Earth's greatest heroes have departed on a classified off-world mission, entrusting them with the responsibility of protecting the planet until they return. Governments have welcomed them, the public sees them as heroes, and crime has begun falling under their watch.

But something isn't right.

Hidden away within the Phantom Zone, the real Justice League remains imprisoned by Felix Faust's magic, while an ancient ritual nears completion—one that promises to grant the Syndicate unimaginable power. As the world places its faith in its new protectors, only a handful of heroes and villains have begun to question whether the Justice Syndicate is truly what it claims to be.

If the truth isn't uncovered soon, Earth may be only the first world to fall.
