Backrooms Project: ASync is a large-scale vanilla Minecraft psychological horror project built entirely with datapacks and commands, pushing the limits of what can be created without mods.

Step into a collapsing Async experiment as Simon Fallow, where reality slowly unravels around you and every decision shapes your journey. Explore countless handcrafted liminal spaces inspired by the Backrooms, uncover hidden lore through environmental storytelling, and piece together the truth behind the experiment.

The project features a fully custom sanity system, dynamic gameplay mechanics, branching paths, multiple endings, original story elements, custom entities, puzzles, and replayable exploration. Your choices don't just affect the narrative—they can change level routes, increase or reduce difficulty, unlock hidden areas, and determine which ending you'll ultimately reach.

Rather than relying on constant chase sequences, ASync focuses on atmosphere, suspense, and psychological horror, creating tension through isolation, uncertainty, and the feeling that something is always watching... even when nothing is there.
