As an Akane fan, this server was not something I'd recommend to other Akane fans.

So the server used Akane name, a Japanese hand-drawn series, and use AI images. Why? Akane is literally made by human work that made fans care about the character in the first place. It's's not like there was no alternative. Official artwork, manga panels, screenshots, fan art (with permission), and commissioned art all exist. I saw one of their boost banners is anime scene that got run through AI, so staffs definitely know OnK and that made me more disappointed. They can use Canva or any editing app without any drawing skill, but they CHOOSE to run it through AI. Liking AI generated images is fine, but maybe just don't name it after Akane?

Next, they got face reveal channel. Why? Face reveal thing is creepy, since both minors and adults share the same space. I know some people won't see an issue with that, but why is that necessary in anime server? Oh what's that, they don't tag it as anime? They named themshelves Akane, which is from anime. So is this Akane server or dating server?

And what's with having to disclose your age? It's supposedly an SFW anime server. I've never seen normal anime communities require that, so it immediately came off as a red flag to me.

Also, it's weird that the farewell channel is regularly flooded with hundres people leaving but the server always somehow find way to make more hundreds people joining to make it up. I never see that happening in other servers.

I tried to stay, but they seemed not to change anytime soon. I'm leaving a review instead of opening a ticket cuz these things seem to be intentional parts of the server's presentation rather than oversights. Why? I saw that the use of AI has already been brought up before, yet it's still used. So yea, it made more sense to share my experience publicly so other Akane fans know what to expect.

And even if they decided to change, it wouldn't change my impression. If this only changes after a negative review, then it just leaves me wondering why it wasn't worth changing beforehand if they really care for Akane.

This server is full server of AI slop generated content, it have nothing real made for Akane, and it just looks like this server is full of bots instead of real members because of how fast there new “people” joining everyday. There no Akane stickers or emojis, or anything made for her, this is just annoying because if I wanted server related to someone specific, I would prefer it to be about them and more better if it wasn’t AI made.
Administration of this server is full of minors and their age and location being revealed for some reason, and I don’t even have a clue why such a thing is exist for everyone to acknowledge, and it looks like privacy is here is out of house.
And wanted to mention that there’s channel made for face revealing, which is, surprisingly normal for this server somehow. Why do you even need a face reveal for a huge server especially with a lot of minors. The only reason I can see why it can be created is if owner are predator.

I joined expecting a community built around Akane Kurokawa, but the server is disappointing and feels deceptive. I’m genuinely confused as to why the server is even branded around Akane in the first place when so little of the actual content focuses on her. It is clear the staff is simply using her character as visual bait to attract members without caring about the source material. Most of the emojis are completely unrelated to her, and there is only a single Akane sticker available. Additionally, for an anime-focused community, the staff’s heavy use of AI-generated profile pictures and banners feels out of place I expected a lot more appreciation for actual artists.

Beyond the visual deception, the server's environment is highly concerning. The staff team consists almost entirely of young minors (ranging from 13 to 17), resulting in incredibly immature management. There are virtually no adults running the space, which has led to serious safety issues. There have been exposures and allegations regarding predators in the server, yet the young staff team is completely unequipped to handle these situations.

General moderation is also practically nonexistent. Despite having a "No Ping" role selected, the owners constantly ignore it and use @everyone anyway. Worse, users are allowed to spam-ping and harass others for hours without any staff stepping in. This server is unsafe, poorly managed, and not a genuine fandom space. I highly advise avoiding it.
