America in Ruins is a roleplay server set in the spring of 1963, during a time when the Cold War was a major news topic. A group of scientists come together to find a cure for polio, which temporarily distracts Americans from the Cold War. When news finally spread that a cure had been found, every family was overjoyed. It had been a longstanding issue for children in America. After conducting some tests, the cure was proven to be, in fact, *not* successful. Instead, it caused even more damage. The government couldn’t let the public know, so they kept it secret. For awhile they did, at least. Now America is in trouble. Zombies roam around the country and most citizens are panicking. Unsure where to go and what to do. Many die, some survive, but surviving comes with its costs. Alone, hungry, sick. All of that nasty stuff. But here’s the question…. Do *you* have what it takes to survive **America in ruins?**
