Dynamic Teen Coalition Youth Policy Lab

We research the relationship between digital policy and the lived experiences of young people. Our work examines how laws, platform governance, content moderation practices, and broader digital regulatory frameworks shape youth online behavior, safety, expression, and access to digital spaces. We employ surveys, focus groups, and rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis to produce research that may contribute to peer-reviewed scholarship, policy discourse, and journalism. Our team is also interested in the application of the 4 primitives framework as an analytical lens for understanding digital systems, power, and governance. We aim to support credible, youth-centered research on digital safety and policy, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary inquiry and real-world impact.
