I've built a Discord with proper AI tracking, live leaderboards, trophy milestones — the whole thing actually works. Every pick gets logged automatically. Wins, losses, everything. Your record follows you around and the leaderboard shows who's actually performing, not who's best at posting screenshots.
But here's the thing I've realised: the tools are only half of it. The community itself is what makes it special — the banter, the rivalries, the unwritten rules, the feeling that you're in a room with people who actually know what they're doing. That part can't be coded. It has to come from the right people being in it from the start.
