Taking place not long after the world fell, people began to fall asleep. When they awoke they had otherworldly abilities. Speaking of a nightmare they went through where at the end, a familiar voice spoke to them, saying; “The first seal is broken.” Those who fell asleep and did not survive became **Creatures of Nightmares.** After the following winter solstice, those who survived this nightmare were sent into a world called the Dream Realm, where if they wanted to leave, they would have to beat a guardian and exit through a gateway.

Not long after tears in the world started to appear that let monsters from the Dream Realm into the waking world. Groups of those who awakened from their Winter Solstice fought against these waves, but as more and more of these tears started to appear, it seemed hopeless.

Until a team of awakened lead by the Immortal Flame entered this tear and encountered the second trial. Returning as ascended. They had broken the second seal. This generation was filled with heroes and legends. You are the next generation, their sons and daughters. No one has broken through the third seal. That is up to you.
