# Reaping for the 70th Annual Hunger Games is now open!

Calling all authors and writers!

Welcome to the Author Games, a writing competition inspired by the Hunger Games.

Compete against writers in a friendly and competitive format that promotes strategy and personal growth. Create an original character and compete through evolving tasks. Each week, the Gamemakers release a new task, where participants complete an entry in their own POV. Eliminate your opponents through strategic voting or writing their death in your entry, deducting points from their score. Entries are scored based on writing quality and how well the task requirements are met. Weaker entries face elimination votes until only one competitor remains: the victor!

The Author Games is a dynamic writing competition where creativity meets strategy, inspired by The Hunger Games! Whether set in a dystopian arena, a fantasy realm, or a futuristic world, the Author Games is a place to unleash your creativity and immerse yourself in the joy of writing. With alliances, sponsorships, and in-entry deaths impacting scores, only those with the sharpest storytelling and strategic skills will survive.
