The Fat Multiverse (18+)

I say this as someone who's been here for a WHILE. I'm talking, one year maybe. This serer is good, it is one of the better fat fetish RP servers out there as it's chill, doesn't have a whole lot going on and the events are fine. Some are better than others but that's a separate topic. I wouldn't even go as far as to say this server is bad, but it is kind of hard to deny that this server has a big flaw: If you're not into the same series everyone is into, RP becomes significantly harder to do.

- Marvel/DC
- Star Wars
- Pokemon
- Smash Bros as a fandom
- Whatever flavor of the week is up and trending

RP becomes significantly harder -- albeit still manageable. As someone who's not super into comics, there's plenty of it in here. Mostly DC/Marvel/Superhero-adjescent stuff, so if you're into that, give this server a shot! I'm more of an unconventional type of RPer, and I mostly RP franchises I like rather than following what the server does. Most of the time, characters that I'm interested in don't exactly get a lot of motion, and when they do it's mostly because they're of shared interest (Project Moon has surprisingly, multiple shooters in here and that's nice Lol), and while it is rough most of the time, it is definitely rewarding. Nobody's mean or harsh about you RPing those things, it's just that most of the time you're not gonna get far without RPing atleast one relevant thing.

Something I do certainly think makes this flaw worse is how the RP Request channel is used. I feel like this is one of the worse scenarios when having a RP Request channel (for RP WITHIN the server), it's used as a way to ping certain users rather than to ping the whole server, which makes my previous point of RPing lesser known series SIGNIFICANTLY harder. I feel like this could be solved easily by adding a pingable RP Request role, which atleast draws interest in the channel itself. Throwing my list of characters will be met with absolute silence a good 99.99% of the time and it kind of sucks in my opinion.

I would also like to bring up how odd the staff team is, as in my opinion -- they are lacking in a backbone and do not confront conflict in a meaningful way. Personally, if a character has a fanmade/official aged up design they can go use that, I don't think it matters as long as you're weird and RPing babies and kids. However, the server has a big issue of pinging everyone to do the same rule over and over, which leads to members leaving over a random person saying something having more output than active members.

Did I also say that the server is sometimes one big circlejerk? If you're not into a set of franchises, you're not really getting anywhere. I do hold the belief that a crossover server should cater to all kinds of series, because it isn't a true crossover server when it doesn't do that. It kind of applies in here, some characters of mine got rejected on being in events but Sonic characters were let in (mind you, the Sonic cast is literally Multiversal+ and the character I was RPing was Universal when wanked), and most events have an issue with this too, most noticeably -- a CRP event where the winning verse got decided via votes rather than actually fighting -- which of course, lead to Sonic the Hedgehog (the verse that won the polls) winning the poll but NOT having one single character in the arena fighting. Which? Makes their victory coming off as lame? RP expression didn't matter in this specific event, which made all the Hololive/Holostars/Project Moon characters (aka server underdogs, series that are only roleplayed by two or three people) feel rather underwhelming.

If there's anything else I have to say, it's mostly issues that are subjective more than anything. I am not a big fan of GC RP as a whole since it's mostly used as a way to get quick, easy short-form RP (which isn't a bad thing!) but it kind of feels like people don't really play like it's a GC? Every character types in perfect grammar, there's no typing quirks or usage of images/GIFs, it doesn't really feel like a GC. But as it is, it's fine! I don't hate it or anything since I feel like this is nitpicking more than anything, just wish it was played more straight than just "short-form RP."

Yes, I think this server is worthwhile. This is easily a one-of-a-kind breed in fat fetish RP, you never see a concept like this floating around. I just wish it was polished a bit more, as it hits every single spot correctly, the people are nice, the RP (when you do get there) is fun, I just wish ACTUALLY getting RP here was easier.
