Welcome to Universe-3323. A universe where… nothing in particular happens. It’s as basic and bland as one can get.
At least, that’s how it looks on the surface. Deep in the depths of this world, there is an underground base on an uncharted, remote island. One where a secret organization funded by a government program is creating portals to other worlds. Not just to explore them, but hopefully to extend their reach on resources and power. Through these tests, people from all over the multiverse are affected. How? They fall into these manmade rifts, ending up in the facility, and subsequently get detained for research.
These subjects caught in the crossfire would soon learn to adopt the title "Anomaly," along with any other classification the site personnel has given them. Ranging from small animals to powerful artifacts and beings, somehow, the site has managed to come up with the correct strategies and equipment that will keep the anomalies they have taken in line. You may either fall in line and do as you’re told, or try to rebel and taste freedom once again. Just be careful. The Overseer has eyes everywhere.
