What is the afterlife? What happens to your soul after your body perishes?
Some believe there are golden gates if you were righteous, or a burning wasteland if you were wicked. While others believe you will be reborn. There were many ideas, but most were not on the right track. No one knows what happens after you die, well, besides the dead.
Your body, lying on the ground, lifeless. You start to feel light, rising. You feel disconnected from your body, from the world. Then you feel your eyes flicker; you feel the grass and the fresh wind. You open your eyes to an open grass field. You look at your hands and see that you have the body you always wanted.
The grass field gives you a feeling of safety, but also a sense of unease, danger. It feels like you've seen it before, maybe when you were a child?
Then you see him. A man in a black suit; He reaches his hand out, waiting patiently.
