For the first time, an election was held. A new president was chosen. President Blights first act as president was to instate quinquennial quells every five years. Panem once again was suffering.
On the eve of the 126th games, panem is on edge, and this is nothing new. A new breed of peacekeeper roams the streets; the oculus. District born, capitol controlled, spies that snuff out rebellion before it can even take root. When anyone can be oculus, no one is safe.
Meanwhile, in the wake of Panems first ever double quell , words of a rebel group from a land across the sea begins to spread. In panems homophobic regime, victors and capitolites alike begin to campaign for their right to love. In response to this rebelry, President Blight promises the bloodiest hunger games panem has ever seen.
The 126th games is going to be a bloodbath.
