Hello! We are Black Bear Studio, a small indie game development team. We’re currently working on our first project — Strange Island.
Strange Island is a single-player, open-world (3 km²), first-person 3D psychological horror game focused on atmosphere, exploration, and a slow descent into the unknown.
You awaken on a remote island with no memory — no idea who you are or how you got there. But with every answer you uncover, even more questions emerge.
⚠️ The game is still in development and is currently listed on Steam as “Coming Soon”. A playable demo is planned for release within the next few months (in late October 2026).

New Orleans had become the perfect home for the supernatural. It had harbored fear and brutal violence for years, and people began to associate the city itself with the supernatural. In the 1700’s it became a hotspot for vampires because of a massive outbreak of yellow fever and devastating fires, which made it much easier to explain missing people. The swamplands made it easy to hide the drained bodies. In the 1920’s more and more vampires began to settle in the city of New Orleans, and with this came more murder. Many people claimed there was a monster that came out at night. Mothers told their children to stay indoors as more and more people would wash up with the storms. But there had never been an ugly creature that roamed the cities, only a monster created by the spirit Amel himself - the vampire.
Now, over three centuries later, in the very heart of Louisiana: a reckoning is about to begin. The vampires are becoming careless and bored.

RESTMEADOW ESTATE is an (ID verified) 18+ semi-literate+ horror roleplay server meant to harbor a calm, welcoming community for horror fans.
The Restmeadow Estate is the only lasting property in what used to be the town of Woodhurst, hiding in the woods and overgrowth. Shibago is a gothic neo-noir urban horror RP server that was recently debuted by me and Cactus. It has major themes of psychological and body horror, as well as traditional cyberpunk themes and an urban noir setting. It takes inspiration from popular media such as Limbus Company, Ultrakill, Bleach, and more. The setting is the cyberpunk inspired city of Shibago, split into five distinct boroughs or regions.
With a unique variety of themes from divine power to cybernetic augmentation, it balances many ideas in a cohesive system designed by me, a traditional discord narrative rp with a bit of TTRPG style “crunch.” It has different systems your characters can pull from for abilities, including different Augments, Jūdan (a form of Ballistic Rites that function as spells), a set of stats known as Parametrics, advanced techniques such as Overdrive and E.G.O, and more.
The city has a unique and deep lore that your characters will be able to find and discover through interaction with the world around you. We’ve kept most things hidden for now, but will reveal it through character interaction and server wide events as time goes on. Discover each of the Angels, find out the secret of the Heartless, and delve into the different gangs and corporations the city has in store.

Ever since Raccoon City was infected with the T-Virus from the Umbrella Corporation, the spread and usage of engineered viruses and Bio Organic Weapons or BOWs has been on the rise. Many groups have risen to take advantage of Umbrella's fractured state to take what they could for their own gain. Other groups have risen to combat and stop the spread of these groups, most notably the BSAA has been working to stop the threat of Bioterrorism for 20 years.
Several reports are written every day of valiant agents, powerful criminals, and neutral parties that actively sway the pendulum of the war on bioterrorism. Who will you be in this world of uncertainty? Will you profit from the chaos of bioterrorism or will you stand against it?
